Top Ten Date-Producing Countries, 2001

The bar chart demonstrates the world's top producers of dates. The top ten countries that were producing dates during 2001 in tonnes are shown in the chart.

It’s clear that Egypt has the highest annual production of 1 million tonnes. According to the bar-chart Iran has approached more than 0.9 million tonnes to be the second highest producer out of ten countries. As we see Iran and Pakistan were producing the same amount of dates 600500 tonnes, whereas Saudi Arabia and the UAE were producing more. Algeria and Oman were the next producers to reach more than 2 million tonnes. Finally Libya was the lowest producer of dates with 100,000 tonnes but Sudan was a bit higher producer.

In conclusion, I would say that the 10 countries in the chart produced the most dates and Libya had the lowest production. On the other hand Egypt was the best producer of dates.
